I can make the simple one column one with just a banner at the top,
but its starting to get old and simple and i wanna be able to expand
my knowledge on this stuff. I have a layout site, and its getting big,
and i'd like to makee some DIV's :]
maybe like the ones thats centered in the middle of the page with
a circle in the middle and a banner or like two columned ones

Maybe like these:

This may be something you've come across at some point, but here it is anyway:

This pretty much explains it, but to add another column, you would more likely want to add another div. This follows the same principle as the stuff in that tutorial, you would just apply the things you pick up from reading it and copy it into making multiple divs.

Also try looking here - Holly did some further explaining with examples that might be useful.
