I'm going to nominate myself for Design Staff. Although I've been posting less and less (mostly due the a bit lower activity there)in the Resource Center, I do have a good knowledge about graphics and web design and I'm pretty sure I know what I am doing.

On the other hand, I definitely support Superficial. Not just because she's a good friend, but because you can always see that her posts are full of meaning and opinion - exactly what we all enjoy reading.

if you're not under this list, it either means i haven't noticed you too much (not to mean that i don't think you're active) or i just would rather you not be on staff.

i think brandon would be a good staff member because he connects really well with people, imo. he makes an effort to get to know members around here and become friends with them. he's obviously intelligent and reasons through things thoroughly, and he can hold his own.

i've seen nicki on staff before and all i can really say to that is that i think she did an awesome job. she's one of the couple people i look up to on here. she's never unreasonable (as far as i can see) and has made contributions to the community for about forever now.

steven... and i'm going to include michelle in here too, haha. they've been on staff before too, and i think they handled things in the community more than competently. both of them have great senses of humor and add a lot of personality to the forums. while they're both laid back, they aren't negligent either.

as for superficial, i can honestly say i don't see her around too much. however, when i DO see her around, she's always got something good to say and i think promoting her would most likely raise cb's general iq. thumbsup.gif

edit/
as for myself being on staff?
i suppose i could avoid bickering with random people if that ever happened. as long as there's some sort of moderating guidelines thread somewhere, i could learn.

I nominate that kid in the back that no one ever pays attention to, but always aspired to become part of the cB staff.

If that's you, please stand up.

I am standing, now where do I go?

If I didn't have to nominate myself, then I would definitely say Ruth and Brandon. I would even nominate Whitney as well, as they all seem to be people who are admired if not respected in high regard on the forums.

good to know :)

i'm surprised no one has nominated sammi (ersatz) for design or people staff yet. i don't see her in the community forums all that much, but from the point of view of someone who doesn't know a thing about design and someone who's been watching her designs before i actually signed up on cb, i think she knows what she's doing.
