Do you listen to the same music, as all of your friends?

Well I don't have that many friends but the majority of my friends don't like the same type of music that I like.

Compared to friends I've made here, definitely. Country music is in abundance in Nashville (duh) and I really have no need for it.

It depends which friends you mean. The few who are fangirls of Asian groups like me: yes. The ones who aren't (and think I'm crazy for liking DBSK and Big Bang so much): nooo.

B-N0X: Dude, stop spamming already.

Nooo way. Well, its weird. No one ever used to listen to the same music as me, but as I got into high school I met more people who actually DO like the stuff I listen to.

I listen to metal, rock, screamo. That kind of stuff.
A lot of my friends like rap or hip-hop or pop.

Friends are overrated.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I would have to say yes and no on the actual question though.

Seconded.

And no, I don't. I'm very into old rock and underground industrial stuff. I haven't listened to chart music since...since Britney had hair.

Not really, but I take in a lot of music they like.
My variety of music ranges veryyyyy wide.
--My close friends are all into that indie, ska, unknown bands, oldish stuff.
--Best friend is into all that unknown bands hardcore with some mainstream singles and hannah montana/jonas bros/hanson.
--Boyfriend listens to mainstream, japanese and random bands.

i'm like all of the above, i usualy just jam to whatever but if i don't like it, i'll just ignore it~

i'm so not interesting when it comes to music ): lol.

No not all. My friends only like the mainstream. I like indie, or post-rock. Whatever you categorize it under. Most are unknown to people. :)

My taste in music is off the wall. My friends alos have off the wall taste, but it varies.

This morning alone, I've listened to Gorilla Zoe (southern rap), Clint Mansell (garage-bandy-orchestra-movie-compositions), Cassidy (east coast rap), Jill Scott (nu-soul), Mos Def (hiphop) and Pastor Troy (obnoxious southern hiphop with hootin' and hollerin')

My taste is all over as well. I usually listen to disco music and 80's stuff as I am a big fan of The Jacksons, Prince, Chic etc. I also listen to alot of the 60's music i.e. Supremes, Temptations. I am definitely into some hip hop and some r&b, but rock is definitely my weakness. At any given time, I will bust out an air guitar on the streets of NYC.

I have different groups of friends. My friends over in Delaware yes, we listen to almost the same thing. Not so much my friends from back in Jersey.

As far as my other groups of friends, not at all.

Out of my boys here in Okinawa, I'm the only one that will put on a fitted and some ones and listen to Maroon 5's acoustic album like it just came out at loud volumes. No shame.
