i just saw this case on "cold case file" on A&E and it just got me thinking about what the police and the attorneys were doing with this guy.

how do you feel about our judicial system towards this man?

for those that don't really wanna read the whole thing i'll give you a summary. this man killed so many women starting from the 1970's but was never arrested because of insufficient evidence. it started in MI calling it the sunday morning slasher with 3 women's body and no murder weapon. he was their prime suspect but could not be held. he fled to houston where he committed many more murders and attacks towards young women. he was finally arrested for attempted murder and burglary but was given a plea bargin for his guilty verdict. because of the bargin, he was able to confess to about 12 victims he has killed. when asked why he stated "they were evil". because of the knowledge they had about his previous victims they were able to give him 60 to life. but after 10 years of serving, he was granted a release date because of his good behavior and he was also able to appeal his case to reduce his sentence to 10 yrs. before he was able to be released in 2006, a victim right's advocate broadcasted on the news about Watts and his history. because of this, a man who witnessed a murder 25 yrs ago was able to report what he saw and was able to put him in jail for 25 to life for that murder. but, unforutnately he was never charged for the 12 girls he admitted to and the many others he was a suspect for in MI.
