Myspace Ad disappearing Options

First of all, hello all. I'm new here.....looking forward to helping others and being helped :)

I'm perplexed. I've been doing web design for a while, and obviously Myspace is going to make me nuts. But I thought I'd figured out how to do the basics required to build a DIV overlay.

For a while during my testing period, the ad at the top was appearing no problem. I tested it in both IE 7 and Firefox. The last few days, the add is not coming up.

So I tested it by taking everything out, and plugging in the code from the forum here. I do want comments to appear....so I used the code provided. First, I cleared everything out and saved the changes.

The ad at the top, in the most basic of DIV overlays, is disappearing. I'm running IE 6.0. Same issue in Firefox (haven't tried it in Opera, but I'm sure the same issue presents).

Um, help? Did Myspace make some type of a stealth change I'm not aware of?

Just a FYI, if it's a text only ad, it normally works ok. If it's any graphical, or dynamic ad, it will appear before the DIV applies, then never come up. It was not doing this up until a few days ago.

Yeah, my layout does that too, did you try refreshing the page over and over? becuase sometimes the ad will never come up.

Don't worry about it - this happens to almost every DIV. Myspace will not delete you, as their graphic will still appear on top of the background image of your layout.

Ya, I've tried refreshing several times, and it won't come up.

As long as it's not an issue that would get me in hot water with them, cool. Thanks for the feedback!

Nested tables..../shudder. I feel like putting a big fat link on the myspace page to my actual website. It's almost not worth the hassle.
