mtv wont be the same with out those reality shows. i feel like some of the shows deserve to be on there. But other shows like next and parental control should be taken off the air.
i really love made, i think real world makes mtv. everything else should just be about music or music videos. |

^ Understood. But they should change the name from MTV (music television) to OMTV (occasionally music television).
Honestly, doesn't matter at all to me since I really don't care for the majority of music videos played (when they are played) anyway. |

Ehh, I agree with the name changing. Usually when I tune in, it's just reality shows. I like some of them, but MTV isn't the same as when I was 6 anymore. Doesn't MTV2 actually show music videos more?

I really can not stand MTV. Like many, the only show I watched was The Hills, but I stopped watching it when a friend told me that Lauren Conrad DID NOT earn her internship at Teen Vogue. MTV gave it to her. The music of on TRL sucks (in my opinion) and they just keep showing the same old tired re runs of Made, Real Life, or one of their numerous reality shows that focuses on the wealthy.

I like MTV. a lot.
I do not remember "it's original goal", since I wasn't here when MTV started (or born). I enjoy the hills, laguna, all that fun stuff, true life, etc. If I want to watch videos I switch to MTV2 or whatever, and now that computers are around, i switch to youtube, etc. I don't mind it. |

Eh, I can't stand all that stuff MTV have now.
I'm not sure if I get screened different stuff since I live in UK, but in my opinion it is aload of BS. :/ |
