Why would you have sex during your period? Much less, where would you find a GUY who is willing to have sex while you're on your period?

I never have, I never would. But sure, have a towel around..huh.gif

There are people who do that, and even though they say it helps with cramps I could never do it. I don't think a guy would like to... erm... get in that messy... stuff.

Eww, no. It would be too gross for me, and it's my period. How the hell could a guy handle it?

I could never do that either, oh man. That's really nasty imo. If you're into that then I'd say but a towel underneath you. Ugh.

I've never had sex at all, but there is nothing wrong with having sex while on your period (as in it isn't harmful to the man or woman). It's just that most people won't/don't do it because it can get messy. I'm not sure about the towel thing but it sounds like it'd be a good idea to have one close at hand.

Isn't having sex on your period pretty much the only time you're guarenteed not to get pregnant? I think I remember reading that somewhere.

actually, you can get pregnant during your period. its pinned in the girls' resource center. but anyways, yeah, some women have sex during their period because they say it`s good when your cramping.. but to me, it`s seems disgusting!

Like Dee said, its supposed to actually help with cramps and stuff. But really I wouldn't try it, it would get messy...

but if you really want to then yea have a towel around unless you want to wash whatever your doing it on.. and yea you can get pregnant on your period. Believe me theres no way to be absolutly 100% away from getting pregnant.

Haha chill, I was just playing.

But yeah, there's def. no 100% of not getting pregnant if you have sex. And sadly, there's a lot of people out there who don't know that.

Obviously I would never ever have unprotected sex, even if I thought there was a guarentee of not getting pregnant. I just thought I'd heard it somewhere, but maybe not. whistling.gif

i can't understand how anybody would want to, unless they had a fetish. i feel horrible and cramped up on my period; sex would be like total hell.

ACTUALLY, haha, there are ways!

- if you've gone through menopause
- if you have the surgery (where they remove your ovaries or something, i forget)
- if you're infertile (which is really sad)

^Eh well we kind of like to keep the age range of the people on this site. I mean if someone is really active on this site and has gone through menopause then well thats just a bit weird and sorry.

Haha, the whole abstinence thing doesn't even apply to the topic... There have been women who have gone through menopause and have still been able to concieve. I guess that all their eggs didn't drop or something.

if you get your tubes tied or what ever you can still get pregnant... cuz after 14 years of being operated to not have kids my mom got pregnant. the only prob was that it became an eptopic pregnancy, the baby was outside of the ovary and had to be removed ASAP if not it couldve erupted and she wouldve died.

I don't think you can't wait for 7 days to have sex.

Having sex on your period is just plain... gross. The only thing that might be going up there that way would be a tampon.

That's kind of gross. But, you know, if you really want to spice up your sex life...Maybe line your sheets with garbage bags? You know, easy clean-up.

...Yeah.

I think I read somewhere that it is scientifically proven that you are less likely to get pregnant during your period, but it definitely shouldn't be used as a form of contraception.
