When was the last time you ditched class? Mine was today, I didn't finish Stats homework. Before that was last school year when my friends and I literally had to sneak off campus and then we drove to In N Out and Jamba Juice to grab lunch.

Like...entirely? I'm not very fond of skipping a single class, but I have no problem with skipping an entire day of school. The last time wasss....summer school. There was a day last year, don't remember when it was, but I just woke up and was like - "I don't feel like going to school." So I told my brother I was going to take the bus there and just slept the entire day. :D It felt really nice. Didn't get anything done, but felt very rejuvenated afterwards.

You goody goody people.

So I dropped out of AP Stats today cause the teacher is ridiculous. My test score dropped 20% cause I spelled asymmetrical wrong. And my friend got points taken off cause he forgot a period...lol and so I had no first period and after wandering around campus for a while, I decided to just go to the office and ask to be a TA. Then I wandered around campus some more.

Wow. What the hell? Your stats teacher must be an extremely anal person.

I haven't started school yet, but that last time I skipped was like in June. I think I just skipped the entire day. AP Stats was the class I ditched the most, at least 3 times a week. xD I still passed though.

LOL STFU, Sally Cho doesn't ditch class!

The last time I skipped class was Freshman year. I went into the library to use the computer or something. Yeahhhhhh pretty sneaky huh rolleyes.gif

But towards the end of Junior Year I was skipping entire days of school a LOT. I was too damn tired to wake up and I was tired of school

Skipping classes is my best memory of High School.

My friends and I used to mission impossible our ways down the halls to avoid the paraprofessionals. tongue.gif

Oh, how I miss those days. cry.gif

Not since last year sometime. I was a notorious skipper my first two years of high school, and last year I skipped some too. I haven't skipped a class or day... yet... this year. I missed school yesterday because I was sick, but I didn't skip.

ROFL I didn't go to class once every 2-3 weeks, back in high school during my senior year! I miss ditching, and still getting A+'s. AUGH.

I ditched way too much my first two quarters. >_<" I ditched less spring quarter, but my grades were still bad.. Bleh..

I didn't ditch at all during Summer Session I (summer school in college) and my grades for that quarter were awesome :D

Last year I skipped a few, but I got tired of having to explain things to my mother or beat her home to the answering machine. But it didn't matter for most of second semester anyway, as I could justifiably skip all the testing periods, and I had so many AP/IB tests that I wasn't there for a long block near the end anyway.

So far here...I've been good. I slept through geology once and got on the wrong bus and then found it not worthwhile to go to history of rock late, but for the most part I've been resisting the temptation to skip lecture classes that I simply don't want to go to.

^ Hey you're in college now? I took history of modern art rock (I think that was the name?) during the summer and wow it was an awesome class! Possibly the best class I've taken during college so far...

(and maybe it's also because I got an A+ in the class... whistling.gif )

Haha, yeah. My history of rock class isn't as good as I expected; it's more about the musical aspects that carry over from one musical period to another, and the influences, rather than the actual cultural history, so that's kind of disappointing. It's harder than it seemed like it ought to be, but in a haphazard was. On my first listening quiz, I barely studied and got a 70; on the second, I forgot to study altogether and got a 92. I don't know, it just isn't as interesting as I expected. History of modern art rock sounds cool, though.

^ Ack I do horrible in classes where it talks about musical aspects being carried over. I'm really bad at memorizing musical terminology, which is important. I also still don't understand how tones, beats, etc. I did horrible in this other music class. >_<"

Yea, the history of modern art rock was really interesting. I took it over the summer and I have to say that it's my only favorite class so far. I liked that we had discussions about cultural influences, impressions, and impact of art rock. :] I'd much rather write essays and have discussions than listening quizzes (I'm so bad at those since I can't figure out what genres they are, what instruments are used, and how each piece is different) and tests on terminology. :]

Yeah, I'm not that great at identifying particular things like that when I hear them, especially when I'm having to associate them with a specific genre that it's hard even to identify since I don't know much about them. We have to distinguish between things like Mississippi Delta rural blues and two different types of Texas rural blues, and then know which other kinds of blues and rock 'n' roll derived from them by which characteristics they share...which I'm sort of bad at doing too. There's so much guesswork involved. I don't know, I just hope I come out of it with a decent grade.

That sounds much nicer, and much more like what I expected from the class. I honestly don't know anyone who didn't have any sort of musical background could do well in my class.

Haha. I missed the entire month of May due to AP/IB exams my senior year.

^ yeah that's stupid.

I did...but don't want to pin point the day.
I don't know it's ok to do it once in a blue moon but other than that if you want to go to college then don't.
