swirlies are overused, but if you want to keep them, i suggest cleaning up the edges; there are some smudges around the swirlies and the lines aren't very clean

mmm maybe fade the pictures so that it's not just block?

It needs more style, more oomph, more color, less white space, better fonts, better placement, and better usage of brushes. Please take some time to check out other people's DIV layouts here on CreateBlog and see how they make theirs. Those were approved for a few reasons. This? Well, yeah.

a few thing i suggest would be to get more use to the program you're using worthier it be photoshop or paintshop pro, if you're using photoshop then you have along range of variety of effect you can use, instead of just using premade brushes and putting a picture on a empty canvas, i try working with some filters, and learning to work with layers, and when you doing your text, always make sure anti-analis is set to smooth so your text is not choppy, if you like you can PM me and i'll give you my aim and i'll help you work on it if you like.

I think it would look nicer if they were all from the same photoshoot. Try to make them the same color too. The sparkles were entirely overused. Also, try using a different font.

everything needs changed.
-get rid of the font.
-come up with a little less straight-forward thing for the font.
-don't use the same words twice like that
-different pictures
-pictures all the same color
-blend the pictures more
-drop the majority of the sparkles
-don't put sparkles on her face
-get rid of the swirlies
-add more color
-add some more objects/brushes to make it more OOMPH. just don't overdo it, and make sure it all "blends"
-add lines for defenition; make sure you can recognize this is for a DIV. add boxes/dividers and such

IMO, this was a waste of your time.

It's really not all that bad. The swirls are a bit much, but some people like that. I'm more concerned about the color (gray) you chose than the swirlies themselves. I probably would have gone with black, but I tend to like things dark so that's really just a personal preference.

I'm not familiar with the program that you are using, but is there anyway to adjust the color on the images so that they fit together better? The image in the middle, for example, is peachier than the the other two.

Well, it's not the worst :)
The pictures bug me. It would have been better if you'd blended them, then MAYBE, just maybe, and a couple of those stars around the outside. The font repeated twice is a bit of a turn off - plus you could've chose a better one.
With a bit of work you can turn this into something good.
Good luck! thumbsup.gif

I suggest you stop being such a little faggot. No, for real. I'm not diggin' the whole Cameron inside the bar thing. Smoothness, baby. Let her beauty flow forth. If you're going to do black and white details....Make them crisp.

Relax, man. That's what people on the internet are for. So, that they don't have to stress out about critiqueing somebodies work. It's all fair.
