can anyone teach me how to erase background on photoshop?

Well, there are multiple ways to do this. From the top of my head:

* One of them is to break your balls into pieces and use the eraser tool.
* Use the extract tool under the, "Tools" menu.
* Use the pen tool to work around curves of your subject and then press delete.
* Use the magnetic polygon tool to, like, half-ass it.

Pen Tool. Cut it out, select the path, hit "delete."

Or the magic wand tool - that's a great one to select the background with and then delete.

it depends...
if it's a single color, you just need to select it with the magic wand and delete, then go back and try to get around the rough edges of the object. if it's like a photograph or something complicated, you should use the path tool.

Pen Tool is ultimately the best; create a clipping path, select your path, then select the inverse, and simply hit delete, and it's done. If you've never used the Pen Tool before, you'll want to play around with for a second before you do anything; I agree that the Magic Wand and Magnetic Lasso are fine, but they'll leave you with a very jagged edge, while the Pen Tool will not.
