MissHygienic - Oh I'm just reminiscing about 2004/2005. No many people currently know much about it, so it's not really a big deal for people from that time to bring it up. Plus, even those who do tend to forget about it, We had our share of drama, trust me. wink.gif

the staff's doing okay, some obviously stand out way more than others.

Agreed. I mean, we've been here long enough, so why can't we refer to it like that and about the drama? I'm sure if you were around in the 2004/2005 time you'd think back on it too.

I think cB has its usual cliques, but I guess that's to be expected. I think the new moderators are doing a great job, I see them everywhere.

People are way too hung over CB.

I come here, I do my job, I'm out.

It's interesting, there are a couple awesome people here, but that's about it. It's good entertainment.

IMO, if you have enough time to be posting constantly, analyzing the validity of the lifestyles of CB members you've never met, obsessing over the compatibility of CB members, or starting shit with other members online -- you my friend, need a f**king life.

I don't get it, I don't post nearly as often. That should make this place considerably nicer, I'm a complete jackass. I don't even bash new members anymore. Why should PS tighten up? What's going on, they been f*cking too dudebros hyped up on extenze? When people are more strict this place gets more boring. You showed up last summer, right when I'd been unbanned. I don't get it.

it's "boring" becasue the people are boring people and the ones who aren't boring people don't have the energy to care. i don't think it has anything to do with mods being strict or not strict. they aren't strict now and it's still "boring".

Wow, this post has made a lot of people act defensively! Isn't that a guilty admission of sorts? whistling.gif

I like CreateBlog. I can't speak for previous states; I'm pretty dang new. The tutorials are helpful, and forums can be pretty entertaining.

With any community, online or off, there will be people with whom you will, without a doubt, be unable to get along. I happen to like people with a sense of humor, and they've been pretty easy to find.

If I weren't a fan, I would not remain a member. It's not difficult to walk away from an online community you dislike.

Very logical answer.

And yes before anyone asks this is really from the series in the star trek franchise (voyager) which also shows more proof that Star trek has more black people then gay ass star wars.

His name is Tuvok.

I agree, but some people do take what people say to heart and it isn't our fault that some people take things to heart. At times, it is fun to joke around and all, but from what I see, some people take it too far and the admin/moderators get involved. Every site has their oomph, and I don't think CB's oomph has come back yet.

One thing that has bothered me in the past is that mods would warn some of the less known members that have about 2k-4k posts for some of the bashing reasons but they wouldnt warn the most Older, well known, 'experienced' members who have either done worse things and such.

Erm. I guess overall i feel as if some members get off to easily

Random off-topic conversations always seem to take up thread space. Lack of motivational posters and Ads for new members has led to a decline in user registration.
I firmly believe that we should take some action in exercising the use of motivational factors to increase the livelihood and overall friendliness of the new generation of CreateBlog.
In doing so, I also firmly believe that motivating our users will result in providing the future generations with healthy moral stature and well-being.
