I just downloaded the following layout on this site for my Myspace page, but would like to know how (and where) I can add my friends list back into the layout. Here is the code:

<p><a href="http://www.createblog.com/layouts/index.php?layout=myspace_layouts" title="Grab Myspace Layouts and Myspace Codes"><img src="http://www.createblog.com/images/link1.gif" border="0" alt="Myspace Layouts" style="position:absolute;top:0px;left:0px;width:10px;height:27px;" /></a></p><style type="text/css">

body{
background-color: FFFFFF;
background-image: url(http://layouts.cbimg8.com/31/15585c.gif);
}

.main {
position: absolute;
left: 50%;
top: 125px;
width: 800px !important;;
z-index: 1;
margin-left: -400px;
background-color: FFFFFF;
background-image: url(http://layouts.cbimg8.com/31/15585c.gif);
text-align: center;
}

.themecreative_dot_com_menu {
width: 100%;
height: 40px;
background-color: 455357;
margin: 0px;
font: 12px tahoma;
}

ul.menu {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
bottom: 0;
width: 100%;
}

ul.menu li {
display: inline;
margin: 0;
}

ul.menu,
ul.menu li a {
padding: 12px 12px 12px;
text-decoration: none;
}

ul.menu li a {
font: 1em Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, Sans-Serif;
color: white;
margin: 0;
}

ul.menu li a:hover {
background-color:758B91;
color: white !important;
text-decoration: none;
}

</style>

<div class="main">

I am from NJ, single with 2 dogs,love to travle, party, and surfing online. Pics you see on this page, I took
them last time, when I traveled to China. Its great experience, I like to share with you.

<br/><br/>
Wow, I really like your layout, where can I get it?<br/>
you can download it from <a href="http://www.themecreative.com">themecreative.com</a>, if you problem to install it
please ask me questions at themecreative forum, I do not answer questions here.

<h2 style="font: 20px georgia;text-transform: uppercase;">What is themecreative.com</h2>
<span style="font: 14px georgia;">
Its my web site to show off my layouts and sharing them with others. Its new,only 2 weeks old.
Not many people know about this site. Everyday I spend around 1 hour searching for myspace layouts.
I found alot sites have thousands free layouts, but they are all ugly, couldn't find anything I like.
This is the reason this web site got born.

</span>

<h2 style="font: 20px georgia;text-transform: uppercase;">Whats coming !!!!</h2>
<span style="font: 14px georgia;">
I am a full time web site designer. Still took me few days to master how to make myspace div overlay.
Alot of my friends (non-programmer) have trouble to build one for themselves, or even just customize the existing
code.<br/><br/>
I am working on the new overlay generator,will create overlay layout automatically. Will be done
in a week, remember to check it out.

After looking at it, it probably would be best if you added your friends in the section part and just delete the parts the designer intended to be deleted.

Sure. You're going to have to edit them in yourself.

Use this code for every single friend:
CODE
<a href="URL OF FRIENDS MYSPACE HERE"><img src="URL OF FRIENDS PICTURE HERE" align=left></a>

1. Go to your friends myspace
2. Highlight the URL (address) in your browser's address bar.
3. Right-Click, COPY
4. Go to the base code (above), and PASTE that where it says "URL OF FRIENDS MYSPACE HERE"
5. Go back to the same friends myspace.
6. Right click their profile picture, click Properties.
7. Highlight and copy the URL of the picture (usually ends in .jpg, .gif, or .png
8. Go to the base code, and Paste that URL where it says "URL OF FRIENDS PICTURE HERE"
9. Repeat for every friend desired.

Excellent!

Thanks for your help...

One last question...

Will it show their status as "online" if they are in fact online?

posts merged :)

Ah. No it won't - it's not the real top friends. And there isn't a way to get the real one back without totally scrapping the Div layout. But, you still can see who's online on your homepage.
