So, I was listening to iCarly when a commercial came on with a similar tune to our very own...well see for yourselves:

If they copy the tune then obviously the rights to the song must be owned by someone other than the band, and I doubt anyone would just rip the song and change the words for a commercial without thinking of the legal repercussions, or McDonald's is screwed.
