Coding issues? Options

I'm having a couple coding issues, and I honestly don't know how to undo the problems I'm experiencing. On the screen-captures that I'll be providing, you'll be able to see the issues I'm talking about.



With this image, I'd like for the name text to be aligned to the right, and I'd like for the text to be in the color black, rather than in the pink it is in currently. I'd also like for the huge white boxes to be completely removed, in addition to the "contacting Torey" portion that is showing up despite my coding.



As for the second image, I'd like for the "Interests" header title to be colored in black as well (on a side-note, if and when I choose to put my "Interests" section to use, the blue boxes will appear as I add content, no?).
