okay so i reguarly straighten my hair.. but when i straighten it [bangs and hair closest to my forehead] it goes completely flat..
no body what so ever = ![]() what can i do to make it have a nice kinda flip over curl thing like this = ![]() maybe i straighten it a little too harshly? i don't know.. i just want it all to be straight and have body like that. if you have any tips/ideass please respond back =) thank you! |

don't straighten your hair near the roots towards the front. or use a volumizing mousse and round brush and lift your hair towards the ceiling when your blow-drying, so it has a lot of volume and when you straighten it, it won't go completely flat.

use hairspray on the roots.

I agree with babecakes. When I was younger I had curly hair and it would bug me... I use mousse when I blowdry to help with my cowlicks, though. Deffinately don't go over the same spot too many times.

i have a problem with my hair too.
so my hair is straight. but at the tip, it curls up a little bit. i HATE it -_- is there anything i can do to make it completely straight? |

If you don't, just wait for your hair to grow longer. With layers, it may take a little big longer. A straightener will solve you problems if you can't wait. |

^2 snip off the ends HA! that wont work. i just got a haircut last week lol and yeah, i have layers and idk about a straightener. my dad wont let me get one cuz he doesnt want me to 'damage' my hair =/ but if i convince him to get me a straightener.. what kind would you people suggest? which one is the best straightener? |
