I want my top 8 friends back.. but I took some of the codes out.. and when I do that... My page goes crazy .. and i dont like it ..

but I want my top 8 to show and I want my comments gone

how can I do this?

It'd probably be easier to post up your code so we can find where the script is and replace it with one that just hides your comments.
