Hi all.
I have a small amount of webspace on my student account that I'd like to put a blog on. I'm looking for something very small and lightweight, in PHP or CGI/Perl, that doesn't need a database to operate. Maybe even something in a single script file, something like that. Any suggestions? |

I'm trying out cutenews, but it seems buggy with php5, and it's not open source or being actively developed. Anything else? Thanks again. |

Hi, thanks for all the replies.
I'm just setting up a really simple work blog so I can track my progress. Before I just had a standalone HTML page that I was updating manually. I'd like to get away from that, but have it just as basic and simple. EDIT: more details: I don't need anything like comments, RSS, trackbacks, any of that. I'd just like something I can visit, type in an update, and publish to the page and have it take care of formatting, splitting into pages, etc. |

i would try using blogger.com because im sure you can integrate it with your own site. they have a few options, although i haven't checked recently for updates.
