Chuck is on my bad side now, since he does not seem to have changed at ALL.

I heard that they only have 13 episodes written. What will they do after they run out?
Go on hiatus like the other shows do?

QUOTE(babecakes @ Jan 6 2008, 02:56 AM) *
OMGOMGOMGOMG. blair is preggers?! i bet she isn't though. that would just ruin the whole show.
Yeah, they're not going to make her pregnant. The only Waldorf pregnant in the books is Blair's mom, which I soooooo want them to do because that would be awesome and we'd get to see her mom change from kind of a bitch to someone who has to be pushed head first back into mommyhood.

GG has also been affected by the writers strike, thats why they have so little episodes.

Is there like a club for GG? Because if there isn't, then there should be because I'd be the first to sign up!!
I'm a crackhead and GG is my drug!!! biggrin.gif

I still like the OC better. Sorry sad.gif

But that doesn't mean I don't love GG! _smile.gif

I heard that Blair was going to get an abortion, but that is probably false. Rufus is being so selfish. He knows that his son is dating Serena and he totally forgets about Dan while he asks Lily to go away with him.

^ Same here. The OC was entertaining and it seems original of Josh Schwartz work.

But GG is still entertaining.

I kind of noticed that Josh Schwartz writing between The OC and GG is quite similar even though GG was based on a book but changed a few things (that was similar to his work on The OC)

Yeah I do agree the fact Rufus seems selfish who just wants Lily because of the past. At least Lily wasn't. (x

But on that same note, Serena was being selfish too. She put her own happiness before her mom's.

But hasn't Serena's mother always been a little selfish? Its even a miracle to me that she was planning on going away with Rufus in the first place. She was a bit ignorant in the beginning of the series...

The OC and GG have been similar. I remember the episode with the evil grandmother who pretended to be sick on GG...that happened in the OC too.

Oh, what my sister told me IS true! f**k !#$@#(%(@#%(#@%(

:[

Yeah, I've been watching the O.C. over the past year (all four episodes), and there are a ton of comparisons. For example, Serena could be Marissa, Nate is like Luke, Dan is like Seth, Blair is somewhat like Summer... the drama in the parents' life is MUCH more important in the T.V. show in the books, similar to how the parents' lives play a huge role in the O.C.

^ Yeah, and I watched all 4 seasons as well, and storylines/plots are similar.

Poor/Bad Boy - Ryan -> Poor - Dan
Ends up with the riches.
Marissa -> Serena

The OC & GG are all in Private schools or schools for the riches.

The OC: Mr. Cooper (Marissa's father) was in debt and in deep shyt.
GG: Nate's father is in debt I think? And he was doing coke.

The OC: Luke's father turned out to be gay with another guy at the car dealership.
GG: Blair's father was gay (I'm assuming she didn't know?) and came home with an unexpected boyfriend of his.

Rememorizes past loves.
The OC: Mr. Cooper and Kirsten
GG: Lily and Rufus

The OC: Annual Debutant Ball
GG: Annual Cotillion Ball
And they both have drama/problems during the ball.

AND DAMN, THEY BOTH ALWAYS CONTAIN NICE HOUSES. (X

That's all I can think of right now.

GG tonight, in about 6 hours. (x

Tonight episode was interesting. I like Blair now even though she can be a bytch sometimes but still, I think she's hott.

I really don't like Jenny, never did. She just seems to try sooooo hard to fit in.
Hopefully, the strike will be over so Blair can come back and bring her revenge. devil.gif

^ I KNOW HEROES. BUT PRISON BREAK IS @ 8. =[ I watch Prison Break than Heroes. I believe the new Monday Night of GG is gonna be permanent possibly?

They are going to air Gossip Girl on Monday starting January 28th. It's gonna be re-runs cuz I don't think there will be new episodes yet since I heard that they only made 13 episodes and today was the 13th episode.

This is going to suck because when they do create new episodes, I'ma struggle between watching Prison Break or GG. Hmm..

They moved it to Monday nights so that they won't have to compete with American Idol once that starts up again. But it will be reruns to "gain a broader audience" and then hopefully new episodes soon after.

I knew Blair wasn't going to be pregnant, but I do feel a little bad for her, but now she knows what it feels like to have people talk about you.
Can't wait for the next episode!!!

Not just a week, more like months if the writer's strike doesn't end soon.

Aaaand am I the only one thought this episode wasn't that great? :/ I kind of....saw it all coming.
