i thought that as an official memebr you could bypass the flood stuff... well its not workign for me.. its been goign on all day

The flood control for posting, or for the "view new posts", search, etc?

Everyone has flood control for the "view new posts"/search and all that...

Everyone except admins are affected by search flood control.

I think by being an OM and higher, you bypass the posting flood control. I don't know... little details like this have been changed long ago to the point that I remember little about them. Anyway...
