Or have the prices at Abercrombie and fitch skyrocketed?
I normally don't shop there, and when i do its because i got a gift certificate from my grandmother. But tonight i just happened to be looking at some of the stuff and there was this sweater that was $160, and now its on sale for $69. There was also this other sweater that was $200. I mean of course i always remember their stuff being a bit high on price but i never thought it was that high. Also unless its just me it seems like the prices have gone up in the past year. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me.

^It's cashmere. I took a glance at the sweaters on the website. The over $100 ones are either 100% cashmere or part wool/part cashmere, which are both expensive fabrics.

i guess that makes more sense, but even though they are kinda ugly mellow.gif
i dont know maybe its just me and seeing how bad this economy that its like "wow who would buy something that much?"

edit: so im looking at forever 21 right now and i see they have a cashmere sweater and the original price was only about $30 and now its on sale for about $20

That's a deal but cashmere is suddenly getting a new wave of trendyness. Cashmere should be an investment because it is a very high quality knit. I wouldn't trust everything with a cashmere label.
