im almost 16 and i want my belly pierced but im scared that it will hurt
and i also heard it gets infected quickly |

I got it when I was 12. It doesnt hurt, and it only gets infected if you dont take care of it well.
also make sure where ever you're getting it is a clean and legal place. |

It's really not that bad. Talk to some people that you know that have had it done. Also, google some information... but make sure you take what you read with a grain of salt.

Any peircing can get infected easily if you don't take care of it. I personally would never get one. They get caught on clothes and if your sexually active they can get caught in the process of that too.
If you get it done though go to a professional. They should explain proper care to you and ALSO make sure they're very sterile if not take your money and go somewhere else. |

A lot of my friends have it, and I'm getting one too, but none of them have any trouble with snagging.
Be careful who you go to; Make sure they're VERY sanitary. You're right, they can get infected easily. If you're under eighteen, please get your parents consent. Also, I don't think they're slutty at all, but rather cute.  |

I like them
Finally got mine done aged 15 after 2 years nagging my mum. Its got snagged a few times on my clothing but that was only because i had a dangly fancy bar in. Its never got caught during sex. Just take care of it properly, if you dont have any products in your home to clean it with the good old sea salt and hot water solution does the trick :) |

I have a piercing. And YES, it did hurt. A friend of mine even passed out after the act. It all depends on how YOUR body takes pain. I didn't pass out, I just couldn't laugh for a while. ><
If you're careless with the treatment, it will get infected. When it does (depending on how serious the infection is) use the treatment given to you by the store in which you got pierced. By the way, normally, they'll explain the whole process and also the cons. Goodluck. |

i just got mine. and im almost 15. most of my friends when they got it it went really fast so it didnt hurt. but if your really skinny like me they have to do it really slow so that they dont mess up and it took them like 20 seconds to get mine in it was so painfull. and its already infected. and i clean it 3 times a day or more
