interest table padding,how to reduce?, help! Options

the bit between my writing as say for example music,there is too much of a gap (padding) and i would like to make it so my writing is more towards the (example) music.



where the green arrow is that means i want it to move back more towards the music,as for all the interest tables.is there a way to do this?
