"In a relationship" or not? Options

I've been seeing this one guy for a couple months now and everything has been going really good. I met his parents about a week and a half ago and he dad asked, "Is this your girlfriend." My guy goes, "Yeah - ish." Note that at that time he said that, him and I hadn't discussed our status yet, although I started to like the idea of being considered his girlfriend, and I thought it was better than a "No this is just my friend" answer. Well I didn't want to be one to push a guy into a committed relationship before he was ready, so I thought that I would let him initiate any further discussion on the matter.

Just so happens, the next night I was with him, he said, "When they asked me if you were my girlfriend, I didn't know what to say." And then I asked, "Well what did you want to say?" and then he goes, "yeah" and then I got a little excited and flustered (in a good way) and said, "Okay, that's cool." and then that was it. I'm thinking, "Awesome, he's my bf."

The next day I changed my relationship status on myspace to 'In a relationship' right? Well it's been several days and his still says single which kind of is starting to bother me. I mean, he did bring the whole thing up himself. He was the one that initiated the convo about "I didn't know what to say when my dad asked me if you were my gf." So you would think that since he did bring that up that he does want to be my bf, right? If he didn't want to be my bf, he would have not brung it up again, right?

Anyways, should I be concerned about this?
