I am making a custom layout for MySpace i position all my images,links,ect. and it looks very good when i view it in my computer ...but.... when i view my page in some one else's computer all my images are in a totally diffrent position wich looks very disorganized and ugly. All my divs are not were i positioned them heres a picture of what my page looks like on my computer and what it is supposed to look like

are you positioning the elements in % or px?

no, but percents vary by the computer and px will be the same on all screens

Well to get it all centered, I really suggest using percent 50% and regular way of positioning things.

Ok so "Mike" told me that i have to change the 50% into pixels and this is what i got
![]() wich is much better now...but my div that covers my original myspace page is out of positon and on as you can see i also have the div positioned in "px" not "%". what do i do now? the setup for the cover looks like this .cover{ position:absolute; top:90px; left:50px; margin-left:181px; width:800px; height:1000px; z-index:2; padding:0px; border:0px solid black; background-color:000000 } |

Change it to this:
.cover{ position:absolute; top:90px; left:50%; margin-left:181px; width:800px; height:1000px; z-index:2; padding:0px; border:0px solid black; background-color:000000 } then change the margin left to position it just right |
