Nope I think it's a good word.
A pure person, as some say.

No, definitely not. O_o I know way more virgins than non-virgins. A lot of them are proud to be virgins.

I guess they mean that being a 'virgin' is seen as a bad thing...?

^ (To Kaycee) yeah thats what I said, but i guess people skipped over it. Ya know how like some teens are pressured to have sex because "everyone else is doing it", well I guess they're trying to say its like not a bad thing.

nope its a normal word.

But people tend to stay away from using it, because talking about anything related to sex out loud, in public its kind of "off limits"

Ah, got it. Feeling very slow today. Forgive, forgive.

This reminds me of an exercise my friend told me about when he took Sex-Ed. They had two seniors from this Christian high school came in; one was a cheerleader, the other this tough-looking African-American, and the students had to guess whether they were actual virgins or "born-again virgins". They said they were both virgins, but uh, nobody believed the cheerleader. pooh.gif

I interpreted that billboard to mean that the word virgin may be considored dirtier than, say, a non-virgin and that by teaching children about it's meaning are persuading them to abstain.

That made sense in my head. Eheh.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't think so. I say freely I am one.

People are so ashamed of being a virgin. When I hear that a guy is a virgin and or girl, I respect them in someway.
