Not really :( Well, if you were the only mod for community center, I don't think there would be anything to fret over.

I'm going to be a complete and total 'Fobbit,' sort of, (nevermind the terminology) for the month of October. Surprisingly, I'll have free time. I wouldn't mind being a mod again. The only reason why I stepped down was because... y'know what, nevermind, I won't get into that.

Sort of. I was in the middle of pre-deployment training and she decided to step down, along with my cousin (Toya) and JC. She thought that I would naturally comply, when in reality, I had bigger things on my plate than leaked n00dz on a forum. At the time, good sense and reason wasn't getting through to everyone and I was way too preoccupied with life to care.

Unless there was some action taken that I'm not seeing, this post shows the last post as two days ago, your response being the first one today.

man, that was probably the best thought out promotion i've seen. let's recap.

thomas has been on, but hasn't posted since oct 3rd...that's three days.
thomas' posting span goes from sept 13th-oct 3rd...just on the first page. that's about half a month with only 25 posts.
thomas just sucks.

you'd think that if you were to promote someone, they'd become active or at least pretend to care that they hold a position, but who am i to know?

who even cares.

this only matters because it's thomas and a bunch of us aren't extremely fond of him. if it was someone who was more liked by the handful of members that set the over all opinion then this wouldn't even matter.

even if he had been extremely active for a month when he got put back on people still would have said how it was a bad idea. so all these complaints are interchangeable imo.

Normally speaking, when anyone gets suspended from staff, or the site, their ppd decreases dramatically. You can use almost anyone as an example for support to that claim.

My ppd had decreased during the span of aug 27 - October 1st because that was the term when I was suspended. Over this weekend I was very busy, I came on to 'check-up' I didn't think my short absence from the site warranted a note of absence.

I do care about the position, and in the next week or so, I'm going to get myself back on track with the site.

What does you being suspended from staff have to do with your ppd? Nate was suspended from staff, and he still made an effort to post when he could.

Along the lines of the typical Nate posting, which is once a month.

Exactly. =\

Honestly, there are things that Thomas did around here that nobody appreciated because they didn't know about it. He just kind of quietly took care of these things and didn't get credit for it. Believe me, when he was on his month-long suspension, I noticed. It's not that we can't do these things without him, because we can, but it's nice having him around.

He was on head staff, he was demoted briefly for turning himself in truthfully for a minor leak that was to my knowledge resolved between those involved, and he handled it maturely without fussing over it. After a month we gave him his position back. End of story.

if thomas had not posted for a month or something that would be one thing, but if you read through his posts he did post. he didn't post as much but like he's already said most people don't post as much when they're suspended or off staff. plus, if there's a few days at a time where he was gone, it's not like it was necessarily only because he was off staff and not giving a shit. he might have been gone those days even if he was on staff, there just would have been an absent post for it.

either way like i said i only think people give a shit becuase thomas pisses in general pisses them off. not becuase they're really taht concerned with his activity. if that's so troublesome then i suggest some of you get on some other mods backs who are twice as bad...and they aren't even suspended!

Oh my particular response was to the part where it seemed like he was saying that he was suspended from staff therefore curtailing his posting. Overall, I think that nobody would care if he would have had to start from the bottom and work his way back up, but since he jumped past other people who indeed are qualified, it made the promotion? a bit silly.
