it's okay staff is laughable at best nowadays, not like anyone takes them too seriously aside from people new to the site.

QUOTE(kreios @ Oct 2 2008, 11:16 PM) *
1) I believe my punishment was for only a month. 2) There is no rule that states upon returning to staff after being suspended, you must claim a position on staff one level lower than the position you were at before suspended. 3) The only other head staffer was Cristy.
I don't believe I needed anybody's support to return to the position I was at before I was suspended.
Some time earlier this evening.

Well shouldn't you have to work your way back up the staff ladder like anybody else does? If that was the case, they could have promoted a People Staffer or Design Staff to Head Staff.

I'm with JC. I don't think anyone in People Staff right now deserves the title of Head Staff, and I think Thomas should be able to get his original title back.

no i don't necessarily think so 100%.

but, no i don't really have much objection that thomas was put back on the position he earned the first time. had the situation been different...i probably would feel different. to me though it's a situation where he stepped up to his mistake, took his punishment and came back. that's just how i feel about it shrug.gif

I would have been fine with a mentor as well. Agreed, but I just feel like maybe you should have to earn your position that you get suspended from.

I mean I think you would be a good fit seeing as how you are already active as is. I mean I don't have a problem with it per se, but I just was puzzled by it.

La la la la la la
:D
I'm in a good mood, I'm listening to canon rock :D

So wait wait wait, HAMMER TIME! No but seriously, this is serious shit guys. So let me make sure I have my story straight, ThomasCunningham gave tung backstage info about a month ago, yes? HS suspension yes? No one really likes Thomas as a mod yes? Not that he's a bad person, no. Just bad at staff, yes. If anyone's a good candidate for Head Staff, I would like to add in that it would in fact be none other than yours truly. You see, I've been around the block eyebrowes.gif, ya "dig"? Anyway, as I've said in the past, cb doesn't need staff. Is there really that big of an issue that y'all need to give AUTHORITAY to someone else? Isn't y'alls only issue dealing with the queue? I mean, the CC isn't exactly running rampart, all that those faggots ever do in there is warn me for not thumbing an image or tell me to be nice or something stupid like that.

Yup.

In conclusion. Thomas shouldn't be head staff. I have a big penis. Mods are dumb.

I never expected Yan lin to say something like that LOL. And with that emoticon.

But I second that. Don't let Tung see or he'll get jealous, as evidenced by this topic: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...=211363&hl=

It is true. The world is dominated by those with a large penis.

JC was discussed, actually. He was given the opportunity when he stepped down from Head Staff. In fact, JC was being considered for an admin position and had stated at the time that it wasn't something he was interested in (before the admin's were being discussed). Something like that. JC has always stood out, on staff and off of staff. Just look around the forums, he's one of few who post thoughtfully and who's topics actually bring out what I consider great conversation. That and he's been a consistent presence in Feedback and currently, is more active as a mentor than a number of current staff members. That's a whole 'nother situation though. Long story short (too late!), to not consider JC for a mentor seems absurd.

Thomas returning to Head Staff is not a big monumental thing either. I don't mind saying this in public, but the first idea was to actually have him return to Design Staff and then after a few weeks (a month really), promoted to Head Staff. So the plan has always been that he would return to Head Staff. He essentially lucked out (for lack of a better way of putting it) since James decided to step down. The plan had to shift a bit. That's all.

And despite what people may think, Thomas was a good Head Staff member. He did some goofy things, said some goofy things and made a pretty damn silly mistake. He stayed, regardless of his suspension. He never argued about it (not that he could :p) and was, in my opinion, classy about the whole thing. That doesn't mean that I am saying what he did was right, not at all. I'm saying that he 'served his time' and everyone should move on now.

And Steven, I'm hurt. :[ cB doesn't need my authorti? *pouts*
