No but seriously, you are dumb. You should not be on staff. I don't mean you being dumb to be an insult, merely a statement of fact. If you wanted to appear to be halfway intelligent, you would step down from staff and admit to your faults. You might not be able to fix your faults, and I can live with that, but you should do what's best for everybody by stepping down.

True Colonel. But it's not that much fun when it comes from someone with whom you were once on friendly terms. Buuut, yeah, I get it. Thanks for the input.

Try neutral terms. From the time you joined "Secret Agent Staff," I always thought you a tad annoying. During the misunderstandings where I tried to get back on neutral terms with you, I wasn't doing it because I thought of us as friends. I simply didn't like having someone pissed off at me for an asinine reason. In hindsight, I should have let you be pissed or w/e instead of letting you severely misinterpret things as friendly terms.

GUESS WHAT??? I thought you were annoying too! And I remember telling you that! Yay. Neutral terms is correct. Great thing the feeling is mutual.

Anyway, the topic is back on.

EDIT//

Thanks for pointing the obvious then Steven (me being dumb that is). Thanks for stating the fact that I'm a f**ktud? (or something like that), stupid and others. thumbsup.gif

Answer questions please. You're pulling a f**king Suzzette. Go back and address what you haven't addressed. I've even pointed that out and you blatantly ignored.

You do that I'll look down upon you because I think you suck as a moderator. You used to be all "YEAH f**k THE NAZI MODS". *Hmm maybe I'll apply for kicks* WHAT I GOT HIRED?!?!?!!?
*time to go against everything I used to pretend to be*

This is one I didn't reply. Here we go:

About me f**king the nazi mods, YES, I completely f**ked them. Then Elba and I decided to apply for fun. It was actually HER idea. Obviously, our application was seen as a joke.
Then, I got hired. I wasn't expecting it at all. Nobody was.

Anyway, I don't see why you'd think I'm a nazi. I actually remember an older moderator PMing me about things to and not to say because I was a mod. I already told you guys why I closed the shut up Tung thread. If I was doing this before now, nobody told me.

I think she called you colonel because of your sig. XD

Sandra, I remember being in these situations. I think (totally my opinion) that the best thing for you to do is to calmly go piece by piece through comments/criticisms and address them as best you can. Then go from there. If it's being pointed out that you are doing something (and it's a repeated criticism), try to do something different or reopen a thread or what not.

Even if something seems spammy or seems pointless, there's a good chance that the point isn't obvious to you (or to others). I learned that so many times. You totally don't have to be friends with everyone or even on friendly terms necessarily. It is nice though when people can communicate with each other with civility and a certain degree of respect. The thing about respect though is that it has to be deserved and the degree to which one must go to get respect is completely subjective. All you can do is make a good effort to let people know that you are reading everything they are saying about you (when criticism exists) and that you address those things without taking it personally, even if a name or insult is tossed in there. Unfortunately, taking insults is part of being a staff member at times.

That was a ridiculously long paragraph. =/

OMG Rebecca! throb.gif

I'm actually learning not to take things personally. It's getting me into lots of trouble. I admire those who know how to be so calm about things like this.

I'm actually juggling between the moderator changes thread, leniency thread, moderator performance thread and a few topics made in the lounge so I can reply to every critisism (I can never spell this word) made. So it's taking a while.

It is hard to be respected when you get all defensive, huh? ><

JC, omg, I'm sorry. I just had this weird moment. I thought your username was The Colonel. Oops.

Great, Steven is offline. So is Spencer. I'm changing country.

Spam. The community guidelines are being reviewed so there should be no confusion from now on. Hopefully, that is.

You're free to state whatever is on your mind. Call me dumb, stupid, f**kshit, unintelligent ... no problemo. -sucks it up- At least, you're not kissing my ass.
It wasn't my intention to ruin your fun. I just thought it was getting out of line. Too bad I came off as a Nazi. I don't think it was wrong closing the topic. I shouldn't have responded to your critiques the way I did and should have opened the topic ASAP.

If this incident should determine my ability as a moderator, I'd hate that.

I apologize to Steven, Trish and Spenc for my attitude lately and I retract (?) every unpleasant remarks (remarques?) I made.

I am forgetting how to speak English!!!!!

as a general rule of thumb here, topics that have a point (i'm not saying mine did) shouldnt be closed just because people are spamming in it. you should tell them to quit spamming and leave the thread open.

i don't know why staff started to just close topics like these...

also, just because an issue is "resolved" in the lounge doesnt mean it has to be closed either. people are still allowed to make comments as long as they are relevant to the thread. the only topics that need to be closed when they are resolved are help threads.
