Emotional/Dark manipulations Options

Browsing through deviantART, I saw that there are still tons of photo manipulations with a girl in a dark dress with a poofy empire waist looking sad and emotional and in dark surroundings. People want to experiment and practice, okay, but they're evuhrywhere and I think it's overrated! There aren't that many differences between many of them, which is the main reason for my annoyance.

I've seen photo manipulations like these. I don't think their to bad, I mean if people want to make em, let em. Sometimes they turn out really well and honestly I have to say anything in the graphics world turns out to be over rated eventually because everyone copies the techniques others use and try getting the same results.

Oh, I've definitely seen some great ones that seem alive and tell a story but it's everywhere. I think the trend's died down a little but it's still going strong.

Yeah, I agree. Some of them are okay, but most of them are just boring and look the same. USE A DIFFERENT KIND OF PICTURE, JEEZ.

I like browsing some of the *good* macabre stuff on deviantart. I'm not really into the emo trend...

I don't look into the Macabre or Horror categories (is there a horror category?). They creep me out usually or I find them uninteresting. Actually, I just browsed through it once and never went back. If I do come across one, it's in the "Newest" or "Popular" thumbs.
