It varies on what code you're talking about. You can use the same div coding for myspace for websites. You'd have to change the "." to #, and the "classes=" to "id=" Also, you have to add a # infront of all the hex codes. There are also HUGE numbers of factors that effect the cross-broswer compatability of the coding. How ever, alot of the myspace (if we're even talking about myspace divs) is almost exaclt the same for websites. But again, some codes vary upon compatablility with browsers.

I'm coding my friends layout for her. I have never coded a website layout..just myspace. I'm trying to find someone to make me a layout. I'm getting my own website but I'm really not up for paying someone for a layout when my site isnt even opened...maybe later on I will but it almost doesn't seem worth it for the first month lol

Have you tried looking through google searching for places that teach you how to code on a website? I learned on xanga first then moved to myspace and then used that and made websites..somehow o_O
Its really not that hard, just search around google though thats how I learn most things. |

That's actually how I learned myspace. I get some help from my brother too. He's taking networking. It helps to have someone who knows everything about computers living with you. I will try looking on google tho thank you =]
