hey there i watched all vampire related shows especially Angel and Buffy. Thats why i joined this blogging stuff cuz my friends and wife don't like any of these shows and i don't have anyone to discuss them or just to give an input....

Anyways the ending to both shows was a little disappointing huh? they kind of left you hanging...

Ha. I totally understand. Years ago, my only Buffy/Angel related conversation with people occured via yahoo groups.

Buffy didn't seem to be open ended, but Angel certainly was. I always felt that it was Joss' way of telling the network that cancelled the show to f*ck off. haha

^ They should never have canceled 'Buffy.' I remember people trying to resuurect the show after it was canceled. But, it did have a killer of an ending with Spike and all. Joss is one heck of a writer.

Honestly, I'm glad that they cancelled Buffy when they did. The show was nearing stale and I'd rather the show end on a good note, than a "why is this show still on?" note.

Angel was cancelled WAY before its time though.

^ Idk, although Buffy ended on a good note, I still think another few seasons would have made me happy. I just wasn't really ready for it to end and ended up feeling semi-bitter towards SMG. I get that she was ready to do other things, but tbh... what else has she really done? She'll always be Buffy to me.

Although I hear she's going to be staring in another show soon (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1299395/).

I've watched the first three seasons of Angel and have the last two on my computer waiting to be watched. Idk... I guess I just don't really think Angel is a strong enough character to be a lead. Don't get me wrong, I really did like it, but it just didn't pull me in like Buffy did.

don't worry... season five is the best season of television to ever air, ever.

I haven't seen those episodes in a long time and the mere thought of those scenes creep me out.

I'm realizing that one of the reasons I liked Buffy more was because I cared about the soap opera aspect of it all (i.e. love interests, triangles, friendships, etc).

Angel is good, but the "soap" part is not interesting me at all. Like, I really don't care about the Wes/Gunn/Fred triangle and although I'm semi pro Angel/Cordy, I don't want them to be together as much as, i.e. Buffy and Angel or Buffy and Spike.

+ LOVE DARLA <3

I still think that the Spike/Angel dynamic was one of the best played relationships on TV, ever.

Much love for puppet Angel.

laugh.gif for a second I thought you were referring to Spike and Angel love scenes. Hm, after further thought, that might not be so terrible to watch. shifty.gif

Yeah.

I'm so scared. I'm close to the end of season 5 and I ... don't want it to end sad.gif

I do have the comics for Season 6, though, so hopefully that'll be good.

They are good (the comics), but I'll be honest with you, totally not the same. :(

Rewatch the whole thing! haha

Also, every scene in the series with Lorne makes me REALLY sad now. :(
