XD.gif @ your last statement. Faith is the hoebag of the Whedonverse, in my opinion. tongue.gif

I loved Angel, the series. There were some rough patches and I think some of Whedon's worse creativity mishaps happened in that show, but regardless it was an overall well written, well performed and well executed series. It's a shame it had such a premature ending (and that SMG didn't do what was right, and join in at least one of the final episodes. I mean hell, DB showed up for hers. What was she working on, Scooby Doo 2? Puuuuhlease.)

I still think that "Mandy" being Angel's favorite song is one of the funniest, quirkiest character traits EVER. laugh.gif

^lolz agreed with "Mandy". crack up everytime he sings it for Lorn. also, the relationship with Angel & Buffy turned more mature in the series too even thought Darla kept sticking it to Angel. Conner was a handful, eh?

I love Sarah [ I swear, that's a non-biased statement.... just because she's my wife doesn't mean anything! ;) ], but I agree, she could have most definitely showed up for the ''Angel'' series finale. Buffy and Angel had a moment in ''Chosen,'' I think. Seeing as though Buffy didn't die, we could have had another B-A-N-G-E-L- moment! Hello, Sarah! What was you thinkin', woman?

While we're on the subject of Sarah, I hear that she wasn't at all very involved with the fans. Whether that means at conventions, out on the street, and so forth.

Oh, and you know what? I'm not too keen on Joss writing an eighth season in the form of a comic book. That's just.... ugh.

^ Yeah. Would have been really full circle to bring someone back from season one. That was something I wanted as well. Well, that and Bruce Campbell to appear as Xander's pop. The two are two peas in a cute eccentric little pod.

Angel, in my eyes, is the best spinoff series ever. That show just shows everyone in its audience meaningful lessons in redemption, forgiveness, friendship, and most of all how to kill vampires. Even though its cancelled, shows like Supernatural are biting the Angel character (Dean Winchester) and its themes like Sam Winchester's psychic ability to see murders originally Cordellia. Even though its last 2 seasons weren't up there in ratings, its a classic in my eyes. Angel for life.

P.S. Buffy is a little slut tongue.gif

She was not! She only had Angel, Riley (ew), and Spikey-poo! sad.gif

And they don't pay her for it... ergo not so much a whore. Or else a really bad one. But stop being silly.

Oh, and for the record, Spuffy > Bangel

^ POO. Bangel > Spuffy. Seriously, what's your childhoood trauma, James? tongue.gif

And like I said before, Faith holds the Whore of the Whedonverse crown. EASILY. Buffy hasn't even been with that many guys. whistling.gif She's only been with one more person that Willow. Willow had Oz, Tara and Kennedy (PUKE). Buffy had Angel, Parker (GAG), Riley and Spike. So numbers wise, heh. :D

Now that's not to say that Buffy and Spike didn't absolutely have the hottest Whedon sleaze-fest ever. Because, daaaaaaamn. I so remember Smashed. cool.gif

Am I the only one who thinks Buffy and Riley's romantic relationship was based on nothing more than sex? I swear, those two were always going at it!

I kind of liked riley, really... at least he made and effort with buffy, rather than just brooding in her general direction and trying to eat her friends (cough... angel)

Nah, I actually think Riley was a good guy who genuinely cared about her. Problem is he was... Riley. Just not enough man for Buffy. That and he was so insecure and just went off the deep end too easily (hanging out a vamp-whorehouse? um.. ew much? :p) The best thing Riley did was that cowboy part in Restless. OMG that was fabulous. Restless has the best quotes:

Riley: Why hello, little lady. Can I hold those milk pails for you?
Harmony: Why thank you, but they're not very heavy. Why have you come to our lonely small town which has no post office and very few exports?
Riley: I've come lookin' for a man... a sales man.

And my favorite Oz/Xander conversation:
Xander: (to Willow) So whatcha been doin'? Doing spells? (to Oz) She does spells with Tara.
Oz: Yeah, I've heard about that.
Xander: Sometimes I think about two women doing a spell... and then I do a spell by myself.

James is NASTY. laugh.gif

Yeah, Restless is definitely in my top ten. I LOVED seeing Adam, minus his Frankenstein self. The first slayer is way creepy. LOL Just remembered the Apocolypse Now Xander sequence and the cheese guy. I never really understood what that as all about. The writers much have been drinking or something the night they wrote the ep.

The DVD comentary says that there is no reason behind the Cheese Man. Joss Whedon just wanted to see what weird explanations people would come up with, which is in itself awesome.

Some faves:

Restless
Once More, With Feeling
Hush
Tabula Rasa
Selfless (Im a sucker for anya episodes)
Dopplegangland
Earshot
Welcome To Hellmouth ('The world is doomed')

Restless
Surprise/Innocence (I'll just lump those together)
Chosen
Hush
Earshot (I ADORE Jonathon), speaking of
Superstar
What's My Line, Part One and Two.
Fool for Love - personally, it's my favorite Spike-centric episode
Tabula Rasa - Come on! Randy Giles lol
Conversations with Dead People

heeee I love listing eps. Hmmm. Think I'll pop on Season 7.

Yes! The Snoopy dance. Both the Brendon twins were in the ep (actually his brother's name is Kelly Donovan) It was The Replacement. It also has that crazy laugh with them both at the end.
