When you're in a relationship for more than sex.
 I would say when the relationship has gone further than just dating and all that high school junk. |

I agree.
 To me, a serious relationship is one that has been going on for a while. Both the people are committed to each other equally. |

Moving this to relationships
I agree with those who say a serious relationship is a committed relationship. When you're both on the same page and are the only two people with the same feelings towards each other. |

^I agree, there are different levels of "serious" when it comes to relationships, and it'll be different for different people.
In my opinion, if you're so "in love" that you think your relationship is going to be this great journey where nothing bad will happen and the two of you are invincible.. You're not that serious yet. In fact, you probably need to be smacked back into reality. Being in a real relationship means that you're mature enough to understand that you'll go through tough times and you'll fight (probably a lot), but you'll still be in love despite that. |

I think a serious relationship is when two people are ready to commit to eachother and be there for eachother no matter what they are open to talk about anything and they care about one another and depending on how long it is and when they are sure they love eachother and if they have been in a long term relationship and they are sure to spend their lives together, that is what i consider a serious relationship.

I think a serious relationship is when the two are committed to each other (and each other only) physically and, more importantly, emotionally.
