has anyone else tried this?

i've done it a few times now, i like it pretty well. i watch my movies on my laptop anyway so it doesn't bother me to have to do that once it's downloaded.

you have 30 days to watch it. so it can sit on your comp for a month. once you start watching though, you have 24 hours to finish it. you can watch it as many times in that 24 hours as you want. 24 hours after it's first played it automatically deletes from your comp.

yeah that would suck. i guess it's just the risk you take for being too lazy to go rent a hard copy of it.

i tried it once too, i wish the resolution was a little bit better and we should be able to watch it again for a certain amount of days.

seriously we pay the same for blockbuster we should be able to watch it how many times for like atleast three days. its stupid once you start the movie you only have 24 hours to watch the rest of it.

those were my two problems with itunes.

and my friend uses netflix instant watch and she said the movies load pretty fast. she doesnt download anything it just starts playing. but netflix you have to pay monthly.

I always kinda wondered how it worked. I don't think I'll ever do this. I would probably go rent the DVD itself before I'd download it only to watch it once.

I've been having trouble syncing my music to my ipod, so i don't think I try renting movies anytime soon.

It won't sync all my music that I bought. Could the music I bought be corrupt ? I don't think it's that. I think itunes just acts stupid sometimes.

Watching vids on my iTouch is annoying. It's way to small.

I would watch music vids but nothing more.
I don't think its worth the price, I rather rent it in a Hollywood video.

for those of you commenting about small screens..just to clarify, i watch them on my computer, not an ipod. i'd never waste my time watching it on an ipod.

Same here, but the selection is very limited (and pretty bizarre). The connection is ok, but sometimes reloads for some reason.

I figure as long as I'm paying for NetFlix anyway, might as well utilize the watch now stuff.

I've never tried the iTunes rental service and I don't predict using it anytime soon.

I have appleTV so I rent movies on itunes all the time. It's very convenient and I can just watch the movies from my living room. _smile.gif

SAME HERE. I've been having problems syncing. This plan sounds like my digital TV over here. You can rent a movie but you have 24 hours to watch it. New movies costs from 3,50 € to 5 €. After 24 hours, you have to re-rent it. But you can watch it as many times as you want, within the time limit of course.
