Okay, so I went with my friends to get our nails done. It was my first time.
The person who did mine used the gel stuff, but they used powder... if anyone knows what I'm talking about. My problem is that on my thumb some of the gel leaked into that sensitive part between the side of your nail and your skin and when it got hard it made my skin break and I bled a little bit. I googled and it said to use acetone (a product found in nail polish) and to leave it soak on the nail for about 20 minutes so it will soften the gel to make it easier to remove but that will also burn the hell out of my cut. Any suggestions? |

hm, i would suggest going back to the nail place and ask them to take them off for you, they will do it in a way that won't hurt as much.
Or you can just do what google said and ignore the pain. If it was me, i'd just ignore the pain and take them off myself. but yeah, probably not a good idea, lol, so go back to the nail salon and just ask them to remove them. |

I ended up calling my cousin because she gets her nails done all the time. So, I'm going over to her house and she's going to remove them.
Erm, this can be closed than. |

Ok, I shall do just that. I don't understand those Gel nails. My girlfriend gets them. They seem like they'd be weird to get, but they look pretty.
