laugh.gif I agree. After reading the entire series my reaction was "so this is what all the hype was about?" I wasn't impressed, either. _unsure.gif

It's like he said, "The book draws you in" and, "You have to know what happens to them"- that's why the book is so popular.

I have to admit, I was thinking the same thing - when i got through reading i would think about how campy and lovey dovey the whole plot was.

I will say that it escalated into a pretty intense plot line right up 'till the last book.

I am a huge Edward Cullen fan <3

True. It's probably just me, I don't know, but I thought the whole Bella's 'shield power' was a bit corny. Actually, a lot of the things were corny.
But you're right. I really did want to know what happened at the end. xD

I just had a baby and his name is... Jacob Cullen. LOL. I'm serious.

I actually had no say in naming him Jacob because even before I got pregnant, Hubby was telling everyone at work that he was going to name his son Jacob. And when we had our first ultrasound, he wrote Jacob on the pictures even though the doctor wasn't sure if it was a boy or girl yet. So yeah, he wasn't budging on that. (Even though I really wanted to name him Avery.)

So Hubby said I could choose his middle name. And I didn't choose Cullen because of Edward. I was watching the Olympics and one of the swimmers was named Cullen and I thought that sounded nice.

But yeah, it's funny how his name is so Twilight related.

i would put this on the level of all other teen romance novels, aka the shit level, if it wasn't for the fact that the story actually does make you wanna read it stubborn.gif once you start reading you have to know what happens to them, which is why i'm half way through the second book mad.gif and my gf is on the fourth, even though every time we stop reading we start bitching about how stupid and "hoaky" it is. this book sucks, but now i wanna know what happens mad.gif at least they are incredibly easy and the font is like size 18 so it takes about two days to read a book.

Co-sign, I'm reading Orwell intermittently between these books so my brain won't atrophy.

JC, your cool factor went up several notches. I don't care that you don't like what you've read of the series but the fact that you've at least made an attempt to know what you're talking about is awesome.
