okay, i just spent an hour in photoshop f**king with this, and i think its amazing, but i have no idea on how i could code it lol.
here is the picture...  so share your ideas, and code if you wish =] ill be working on it |

Okay, I'm mad slow. Um. The idea is cute but there's a lot of emptiness. It looks like a very plain desktop. The empty gray windows are a little distracting. Consider putting content in there. |

I think the Photoshop interface is a part of the layout.
 The start menu isn't good. There's a lot of empty space. How about adding icons next to each link in the menu? Perhaps a better font for the navigation? The colors (gray and those shades of blue) are also a little uninteresting. |

I like your concept a lot, but not the actual execution.
I think you can take this a lot farther than you have here... it just looks to plain to me. |

I think its a nice idea, but it isnt greatly executed. There is so much more you could do with the navgation, and the "about me" area looks so cramped and congested, it feels like its there because it HAS to be there.

The idea is good, but how you try to do it, is not good. Lol. First off, somehow to me, the taskbar look a tad out of quality, just a bit, it need to be sharpen just a bit. and also it is NOT a great theme for xp. It'll be really cool if you did have one of wincustomize theme instead. and the about me part is a total throw off. along with how odd the bg is, i think the bg should have a wall paper and other icons.
