I had to change my schedule eleven times in the 6th grade. I know that seems very "Wtf? Sixth grade? Why do you need the perfect schedule at that age?" But I was srsly tossed around for the first three weeks.

I haven't had very many schedule changes in high school, but the big thing is scheduling what classes I'm taking the next year. It was a bleeeeeep to schedule senior year, because most of my classes are ones that are offered in only one freaking period, so say Spanish 4 and Drama are both 7th period - I'm screwed.

I was waiting for a pretty long time today, but I finally got my schedule fixed.

I don't think I've ever had a 1st semester schedule that was absolutely correct and flawless. 2nd semester ones are usually right the first time.

They usually can't get it right the first time :-/

this happened to me my freshman year and it screwed me over my whole sophomore, and junior year. Now that I'm going to be a senior it completely screwed me over. When I would see my old counselor walking the halls or something I would just shake my head and think to myself wow lady you so screwed my whole high school experience. stubborn.gif

Ahhh, my brother got freaking lucky.
His schedule was messed up, but he still had all his classes--just the wrong English class. HowEVER being put in that wrong English class made him be with 2-3 of his best friends when it came to English, and their English class is right before lunch, so they ALL scored there.

Lucky bas*ard..... You've no idea how much I hate him for that!

Oh yeah. I was great for me though, I had a 4 - 11 schedule which wasn't possible for freshmen cause that means they start late and get out early. Hehe, but I didn't hate it. The only thing I was missing was fitness. whistling.gif They found out eventually and when they did put me in a gym class, and I went there, it turned out I didn't belong in that class anyway.

I hate when that happens.

This summer I just happened to come up to my school for something and I found out that I was dropped from some of the classes so it took forever for me get my schedule changed. My school is so slow at it. I hope they have it right before the first day of school.

Yeah but I have never had a creect schedule ever.

I just got back from orientation... and I'm not happy. mellow.gif

(This is all for first semester)... they put me in Latin, when I didnt even ask for it. Then they throw me in English 3 Honors, when I just took that last year. And they put me in basic computer, again something I didnt ask for. At least they got the Pre Calc right though.

I'm regretting changing schools now. sad.gif

This has happened for to my schedule for next year; I signed up for Drama and Media, and got put into Accounting and Economics instead. Schedule messups are pretty frustrating, but it's worked out in the past, so *fingers crossed*.

My schedule is already screwed this year.

They gave me Theatre Arts/Dance when I didn't even choose that. I'm taking that out and hopefully get in Photo. Gah. I'm going to Theatre Arts/Dance like a couple days before I even transfered to a different class I bet, GAH. I will just hope the 2nd day I will get to be in Photo. =X

They also put me in Physics. I want to change that to Psychology.

my schedule has never been bad, but right now I am really really upset at the glc because she put me in chinese and I want to go to french, and if I go to chinese I have to stay in it for four years..and my mom likes french and my dad likes chinese...*runs away* and my mother is really worried because my friend GLC's messed up and she didnt go to algebraII her freshmen year and so she had to take it during summer.-.- (dies) schedule messups are really bad because if you get put in a bad class, it can mess up your entire schoolyear.

They messed up on my grade this year. they counted me as 11th grade instead of 12th grade. It is a good thing they are in the process of getting that fixed.

f**k, I HATE MY COUNSELOR.

Not really, but...

She put me into the wrong level English class (advanced instead of CN), and she STILL hasn't gotten me my two off periods yet. =_="

The only reason why my schedule was right is because they called me like 35454 times.

And the class I wanted to take was dropped the only period I could have it, so Im in this stupid class, which no one else wants to be in because everyone in there couldnt take another class, so they had to take that one.
I hope that makes sense.

It was back in 7th grade when I had a schedule messup. It was a month after school started when the school was rearranging classes because they added a new teacher. I used to be in music appreciation class and somehow they gave me Band after the schedule change. I cannot play a band instrument (while others can play already) and I was stuck in that class for the semester.

Thank goodness that you do all of your own scheduling in college. I had a few screw-ups in high school, but nothing too terrible. I remember not having a fifth period during my freshman year (out of a total of six periods).. but that's about it.

Tomorrow's the start of the second week, and my schedule is still messed up. I put in a course change form two weeks before school started, and my schedule still hasn't changed. I'm enrolled in Psycholoy 2, instead of AP Psychology. And I still haven't figured out why they thought I was taking French instead of Spanish. New counselors. Gah.
