Anyone know a good (Like a Collegiate) online dictionary that has sentences?
My AP English teacher told me to find a site for it so we can do our homework. I can't find any and my teacher recommends Oxford Collegiate or Webster Collegiate, however, I didn't find any sites that had sentences for it. She won't even allow the class to use dictionary.com because she says the sentences are too simple and not complex. I have a dictionary but not sure if it's collegiate since it doesn't say it but the words look "collegiate" i guess. However it takes longer to do the assignment if I do with an actual dictionary. That's why she told us to find a site for it. Anyone know a site that's like a collegiate dictionary with really good sentences, as well as definition? Thanks. |

I didn't find any that aren't free, so if you're willing to pay 15 dollars for a year there's http://www.merriam-webstercollegiate.com/n...in.php?return=/
