There's this amazing cute boy who I'm talking to. We've been talking to each other for awhile, and I've noticed myself growing feelings for him. I know he likes me, too, but his previous relationship coming to an end has hurt him a lot. He told me it was ten months long followed by a "silent kill." I understand that he's hurt. For the most part, we're dating, but it's not "official."

Last night, he came over, and I asked him when we would finally be actual boyfriend and girlfriend. And, he told me he doesn't know. He "isn't ready for a relationship" just yet, as he says. I was sort of hurt when he told me that, because I was acutally hoping he would make his move last night.

Now, the part where I'm confused is I know from our mutual friend, who is completely understanding that we like each other, that he has done other girls following the break-up with his EX. Our mutual friend has me thinking now.

I'm willing to wait, because I don't want to make him feel like I'm rushing. But, how can I possibly be so sure he wants me for me, and that he isn't looking for sex?


I've asked him myself, and he says he isn't after sex. But, it's hard to believe those words from a guy these days. -__-;;

normally when a guy has sex with other girls, and juding from your post, those were one night stands. You want to be in a relationship with him, unlike those one night stands, and this confuses him. This is confusing for a dude who has had sex (your profile says your 15 so Im gussing hes around that age as well), and probably wantS MORE sex.

obviously he hasnt considered dating you seriously, and since he still hasnt gotten over his previous relationship, I doubt its going to be happening soon.
