You know how bands will change their musical style? What's the biggest leap you know of?
Like from...I don't know.....Swing to metal (I doubt this ever happened). I'd say the Beatles but they were always "rock". Bobby Darin jumped from rock and roll to swing/lounge in one year (i.e. 1958: Splish Splash, 1959: Mack the Knife). And the Bee Gees in their early years were a mellow...rockish band but then they went inactive and came back as the greatest disco band of all time! Anyway, do you know of any large musical leaps for a group? |
