I know, I know, there's an image-map tutorial in the tutorials section.

But... i'm too lazy to hunt down each and every one of those stupid coordinates, and it takes too long to impliment it anyway.

I tried |2|nekked's way of doing things too, but it gets a little bit tedious. So, here's an alternative:

1. Create any image-map base (picture) with photoshop.
2. switch to image ready
3. use the image-map button to define the areas you want to be mapped (3rd button down from the left side)
4. go to the imagemap toolbar and enter in the website, name, etc. of the hotspot

5. now here's the different part: go to "Edit", go down to "Copy HTML Code", and click "all slices"

ta-dah! you now have your very own image map code

credits to |2|nekked for getting me to step 4 lol

you can also try this out if you don't want to use a program: http://www.pcoward.com/imagemapper/stage1.asp all you do is follow the instructions about clicking where the coordinates should be and it comes up with the numbers for you and puts it in the code for you at the end.

where do you put the code when it gives it to you? because I tried putting it in my xanga.. but then it came up with a huge empty picture box with the links working in there, but not in my actual background...
