this is the first time this has happened because i have made many gifs in the past...when i go to save optimize my gif the menu does not give me the option of saveing it as a gif only html or images only (jpg) how do i save as gif or what did i do wrong?

before you transfer the image or your "work" to imageready
go to photoshop file then to save as and click gif on thoes options and then trasfer your work to imageready and then save as and is should save as gif... =] hope it works |

When you open Imageready and you're image is already opened. On the right side, there is a toolbar that gives you .jpg, .png, .gif. Just make sure it's .gif and if you're slicing, also make sure it's on .gif.
