im a german immigrant to the usa, and is it so weird that i use xanga? all my friends do and only a couple are not asian's. and when i talk about it to my friends, they give me that look like i dont belong there. But its the only way i can talk to some of my out-of-state/country friends and family.

Well, I'm asian, and almost all my friends that I usually hang out with at lunch are too. But don't get me wrong. I have non-asian friends also.
If you are a German immigrant and they are your friends then I don't see what's wrong!! |

welll imma asian i have TONS of asian friends but not all use them i have a TON of american and other background friends too they use xanga too!!!

friends? are you sure? some of my friends aren't asian, but they use it.
 nobody gets on their cases for using xanga. i haven't read anything that says 'only asians allowed'.pshh. people these days. |

Why arent you allowed to use it? Its free to anyone that wants to. and if they give you that look and say you dont belong, reconsider them, are they your friends?

omg who says just because your not asian that your not allowed in xanga?? seriously dont listen to them. and if they treat you and make you feel like u dont belong you should rethink about calling them your "friends".

hey dont worry about it. i know that many xanga users are of Asian background, but that does not make you weird in any way. i think xanga is a great place for weblogging. don't let what others think prevent you from doing something you like/enjoy, especially if it's a way to keep in touch with out-of-state friends/family.
