I like this guy and he likes me back... the only thing is he's two year younger than me... he's gonna be a freshman and I'm a junior...
I know you shouldn't really care what people think, but I'm just worried about things... and if we do go out, I don't want to end up breaking up and making our friendship akward.. should I go out iwth him or not? |

^She definetly has a point, with the maturity thing. It's all in your taste in guys I suppose. Just go with your gut feelings, and if you like him enough, then why not I say.

It shouldn't matter. If he likes you and you like him, just go for it.

Age shouldent matter, as long as you like him and he likes you, go for it.

sure, age doesn't matter, but level of maturity does. both (mostly) balance each other out. so, it's your call whether or not he can handle a relationship with you.

why not? what are you worried about?
just don't forget that you are going to be going to college soon. two years can be extremely short; it depends on how long your relationships usually are. if you don't want things to be awkward, then don't let it be awkward. if he's pressed on things being awkward and avoiding you after a break up... that's foofy. |

Age does not always equal maturity.

^ I agree. Now and days I've noticed that younger guys are beginning to act more mature. It must be the times. But as long as he treats you good, no need not to date him.

The only issue i could see is your friends getting along with a fish. In high school this is usually a bigger deal with all the hazing and whatnot, and on the flipside his friends may be extremely immature.
