Hey I was wondering what people
recommended for a BEGGINER 35mm
SLR film camera. I'm taking High
School Photo and I need a camera,

Do you think you should be dishing out the money for an SLR if you're a beginner?

I'm not a total beginner
its just the begginner class
and I'm a digital person. I haven't
used a Film in a while and thats
what I need for the class

Like I said I've been doing photography for a bit.
But it's been digital I need a starter* is a better
word. But I'm looking for an older one but like
brands and such. I want to know what is a good brand.

Pentax K1000 if it must be manual focus. Rebel K2 or T2 if you want a relatively cheap but more modern camera with autofocus. Nikon N series if you want the best.

I ended up with a Canon A-E1 Program.
I wanted an oldie and I got it :]

Eh... AE-1 was a good camera. But buying a camera with an FD mount is a dead end, unless you're planning on starting a collection.
