I made this as a banner for a fansite... I just wanted to get some opinions on what I should do to fix it or make it better. I can't figure out how to single the people out without having to erase little by little... my mouse is horrible and always makes it look freakish.

I used Photoshop CS2 and I got the brushes from somewhere but I forgot where, if they are yours please tell me so I can credit :)

I like the background, but the image I think you should've feathered it or used a soft brush for the edges because the edges look choppy in my opinion.

Yeah, I'm just learning how to make them not so choppy :)
But. I've never feathered anything before... in fact I have no idea what it is lol

I am really new to Photoshop in that sense

Maybe try removing the background of the photo altogether with the background eraser tool? You could then add maybe an outer glow or whatever effects to single them out?
Looks good apart from those edges, good luck!

BTW: Just looked at your profile and had a seizure.

EDIT: Just noticed the "scan lines" effect, pretty wicked.

I really like the pattern =) But I'm not to crazy about how you cutted the image. It seems like you found a pattern, and just cut out an image, and randomly placed it there. Also, you could choose more attractive fonts. Practice makes perfect _smile.gif
