I'm catholic, and Sometimes I would go to my friendds Christian church and I think It's great. I mean we had bible study for about and hr. The pastor and all the kids would contribute to the convo and I enjoyed it:) And yeah they did hang out for the remaining hrs, but I don't believe that makes them hypocrites. Its Fun and keeps you out of trouble:D

Ok,Theres no need to stereotype.
I think you have a topic like this already but I'm not sure Anywhoo...Umm don't just blame Asians because I know alot of Americans who are fake Christians too. And some of the main ones are the ones that go to church,Ok like some preachers they take the money from the church and go pay their car note. So its just not Asians. But I do know some true Christians out there too. |

Let me paraphrase. A lot of East Asians in America are Christians. We go there obviously because we're christian and we believe in Jesus Christ. We accept him as our Lord & Savior. So we have to go with a strong, passionate mind to praise god, not to meet your damn friends! I know a lot of people who don't have that mind set, so I call them "fake" christians. Also, there are people who go to church (Yes, asians) but they are the ones doing bad activities in the real world like robbing, smoking weed, etc. They deserve a punshishment from God, and those are considered a sin. If you are a Christian, you should be restricted from doing those crazy stuff.

You really don't have the authority to determine who is a true Christian or not. There are different people who go to church for different reasons. Accept it, move on, and let your lord handle it.
And perhaps the atheist was forced to go to church by his mommy?

I find this topic very ironic...
I personally dont take many things seriously, but ill try to in this case... You've successfully created a topic that is actually calling out yourself...not only are you passing judgment on this person and those other people you generally described, but you're incredibly vulgar in doing so... now dont get me wrong kid, i honestly dont care what language you use unless its directed towards me and even then i prolly wouldnt give a hoot, but i dont think you would use that language in front of your almighty pastor |

If you are a Christian, you should be restricted from doing those crazy stuff. church is for fellowship, worshiping together, etc. the people are the church and they are connected because they have an interest in the religion/lifestyle. since i know you're of the bible-toting sort, you should probably know these verses already.  "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." - matthew 7:1-5 NIV you're forgetting that a basic belief of christianity is that everyone sins because we're human and it's in our nature. everyone deserves to go to hell, yet grace saves us. also, asians have nothing to do with this.

Did Jesus himself(according to the bible) hang around only the priest and his followers...no he spent time with prostitutes, murderers, and liars. do you think yourself to be to great to be even near such things? he didnt. |

religion in general is nothing but a book relating past due events with fantasy. it's the people who truly believe these events happened that convinced others...to join up... you think religion just popped out of no where? it's been around for thousands of years.
