I played around with the fonts a little bit and hid a few things, i also changed the widths and padding of some things.

I don't see anything special about it. For a layout site that I'd use I'd really like to see more. Besides the background and comment box being on a different side (which is nothing new/extremely special) there is nothing special about it. Its just the normal myspace layout. I'm not a fan of it but thats my opinion. mellow.gif

I agree with Toya, there is nothing amazing in this layout at all. The coding is pretty clever, I give you that. But the whole profile just lacks a lot of uniformity.

and i agree with mark and toya

if i was going to a layout site, i'd expect to see a good layout on their page. something that would make me interested in their layouts i suppose.

I don't think a div would do it. I think anything besides the layout that Tom or whoever made it created would be good. I like to keep it this way.. you don't need a div to be a good layout site. I've seen some pretty HORRIBLE div layouts. But I'm just saying like if you have the default myspace layout... with a different background. Same text.. same everything. Its not really that special.

Then again I'm a tough critic so yea but still. I like to keep it this way when you first come to a site thats your first impression. (Like what JC said) When I first went to the site I thought it was a unused myspace rather than a layout site.

Maybe if you showed some of your layouts (screenshots) on the main page. You need something that will catch the viewers attention. And so far all I've heard was the comment box that does it. And that would just get people to comment.. not stay and look at the site.

No. You misunderstood the post. I meant, mostly all the threads showing off new layouts have been overlays. That is what I meant. Not that we were expecting a div. I meant, we were a little stunned at the thought that it was not a div, and it rose our expectations a bit too high.

Yeah, I think if you want to showcase your myspace layout, I think you should atleast take your profile off private or take a screenshot. _smile.gif

When you take it off private PM me, and I'll reopen this. We don't need 20000000 people saying its private.
