Hello,

I am seeking help to animate just the background in a document. I added a .gif to a bitmap, and I just want the background to blink and not show individual frames that are noticiable.

You can't do animation in Fireworks. You can export the image from Fireworks to Flash, or to another animation program such as Imageready or Animation Shop

Imageready has been disconntinued this year because adobe felt Fireworks does the same thing and in my opinion it really does. (Source http://www.adobe.com). I have created the animation and the animation works perfectly but I want just the background of the .gif file to flash. Slowly I'm getting it together, but I feel that there has to be a less time consuming way. Trial and error has been my friend lol, however I'm ready to finish.
